DIY family memory cards

memory cards by Zuhuda Photography

Get off the PC, tablet or phone screen and make your own family memory cards!

Yes, of course you could just let your kid play the game on your tablet or phone, but is it any special? Playing against computer isn’t fun. But beating mum or dad to it is so much better!

Let’s spend some family quality time together.

All you need is 24 favourite photos, 2x A4 thick paper, printer.

1, choose your best images

2, crop them to 24 squares and place on A4 document.

You can use either Photoshop or any free software you can crop and edit your images with.

3, on your back page, place one image 24 times, or use my template.

Note: you don’t have any suitable photos? Print the template and let your child draw on it. Then scan their artwork.

4, print front and back sheet 2x.

DONE!!!

You know how to play, don’t you?

Cut the images and lay them on the flat surface, face down, in rows. The youngest player goes first. Each player can reveal only 2 images if they match a pair they get to keep the cards, and that player gets another turn. The one who gets most pairs is the winner.

Come on mum, can you win?
