We love traveling. It does not neccesarry means we have to go to some exotic countries. Discovering places nearby or just across the chanel or sea is very important for us. Many people travel the world but have no idea what’s behind the corner. We are not like that. We want to know all about the places where we live and then we can move further away. And traveling with kids? Why should that be a problem.
Recently we took the plane to Northern Ireland. I used to live there for about 3 years and I thought it was time to go back again. Just for a short while, this time taking my little boy with me. Just to show him a place I used to live
I love Tempo Manor (Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland). It is one of the inspirational homes for me. It is absolutely photogenic not only from outside but inside too.
Recently we stayed in a beautiful Victorian Manor House build in 1863 by ancestors of the present family. This charming home is surrounded by 300 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, landscaped gardens and wonderful natural lakes.
Although it is privately owned and buzzing with family life, it is also used as a venue for private parties, wedding receptions, corporate events, and other occasions and is absolutely picture perfect for wedding photographs.
I am not an architecture photographer but I love homes with character. High ceilings, large windows, old doors… all these elements spark ideas in my head and the photograph is born.
I can’t go back there and look out from the beautiful windows, sit on a sofa in the historic sitting room, chase my kids around the huge kitchen table. Just thinking about it brings back many memories.
John, Sarah, Tyron, Phoebe, Isabella THANK YOU for sharing your home with us, we can’t wait to see you again soon!
